The Preparatory Office of the National Human Rights Museum was established in December 2011 to take oral histories and performing a variety of surveys, research, and preservation work. It has also worked to breathe life into the Jingmei Human Rights Memorial and Culture Parks historical buildings. The area has been rebuilt and now hosts many exhibitions and educational activities.
